My guest this week is Jerry Brainum who was the science editor of Muscle and Fitness magazine for 10 years; editor-at-large at Flex magazine for 8 years; and was the science editor of Planet Muscle magazine. He has published over 5,000 magazine articles. He has written for Men’s Fitness magazine; Sports Fitness magazine; Muscular Development magazine; Muscle Mag International, and was a regular contributor to Ironman magazine for 28 years. Besides his writing, he was a competitive bodybuilder during the 1970s and has been a nutrition consultant for numerous elite, world-class athletes. He is also the author of an e-book for drug-free bodybuilders called Natural Anabolics. Finally, he is the creator of Applied Metabolics, which is an in-depth newsletter about food supplements; exercise science; steroids, and much more.
